Air conditioning: energy and the environment
On August 5, an international webinar debated the efficiency of air conditioners in Brazil, India and China in the face of the growing global demand for more electricity for this purpose
Around the world, there are discussions about how to meet the growing demand for electricity for residential air conditioners and, at the same time, to advance the viability of efficient local air conditioning industries. In this regard, the Kigali Project, CLASP and the Energy Foundation organized an international webinar with public policymakers from Brazil, China and India to discuss the implemented innovative solutions and the lessons to be learned that can be shared with other emerging economies.
