The Scenario of Communication in the Third Sector
A survey by the Instituto Nossa Causa, supported by iCS, demonstrates that civil society organizations in Brazil consider that communication and marketing influence fundraising
In June, Nossa Causa released the survey "The Scenario of Communication in the Third Sector - Practices, challenges and perspectives" which aims to present the scenario of the practices and perceptions of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) of Brazil with respect to communication and marketing in the Third Sector. The intention is to understand precisely the challenges, practices and importance of communication for the CSOs, in addition to understanding the relationship between investment in communication and marketing and fundraising. Entities from 23 Brazilian states participated in the survey, and among its results is highlighted the score of 3.7 (out of 5) in relation to the influence that the organizations credited to communication in fundraising, and 3.9 (also out of 5) in social impact.
