Faith and climate
ISER participates in an online debate organized by Green Faith about the relationships between climate change, the pandemic, spiritual transformation and a fair economy
“Climate change, COVID-19 and the paths to spiritual transformation and a fair economy” were the subjects chosen for the webinar developed by Green Faith with the participation of ISER on September 30. Pedro Strozenberg, a member of the board of directors of ISER-Brasil represented the organization in the debate which also included Ane Alencar, from IPAM-Brasil, Blanca Echeverry, coordinator of the Inter-Religious Initiative for Tropical Forests (IRI – Colombia), Neddy Astudillo, an ecotheologian at GreenFaith (United States) and Arianne Van Andel, an ecotheologian and coordinator of the Inter-Religious and Spiritual Alliance for the Climate (Chile).
