Connection for the Climate [Conexão pelo Clima]
The Zero Carbon Connection Fair has changed its name and, in 2020, held an online version, with conversations about forests, the countryside, food production, cities, energy and urban planning
In 2019, the union between O Mundo Que Queremos [The World That We Want], CDP Latin America and Climate Ventures created the Zero Carbon Connection Fair, promoting partnerships and mobilizing resources for solutions that transform the business models aiming to reverse climate change. The name has changed, and Connection for the Climate has become a unique space of intersection for a low carbon economy. The person-to-person edition will take place in 2021, but 2020 could not go unnoticed because the dialogue must continue. There were two days of seminars, the first dedicated to forests and the countryside, with challenges related to food production, sustainable land use and the appreciation of living forests; the second day was directed towards cities, with highlights for the “brown agenda,” energy, industry and urban planning.
