Ana Toni gives an interview to RedeGIFE

On April 22nd, at the UN headquarters in New York, President Dilma Rousseff signed the Paris Agreement, which was sent to the Brazilian Congress for ratification. The Paris Agreement is a global effort to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and limit the risks and effects of global warming. Thus, the document establishes that the average increase in global temperature cannot exceed 2°C by 2100 compared to pre-industrial levels – with efforts to limit the increase to 1.5°C.

Ana Toni, executive director of ICS, was invited by redeGIFE to talk more about the subject and share her impressions of Brazil’s position in the Agreement.
